Progress on the website has been slow due to a combination of high workload, childcare and sickness (the dreaded Covid had hit the household again, followed by Hand Foot and Mouth and a selection of winter cold viruses).

2 key updates – a glossary is currently being created – as there are hundreds of optometric words that require definitions, this may take about another month to bring to a releasable state.

The second update is the Focus Funhouse, which is an area I feel is very important to professionals and students alike – a place to not be clinical for a while and enjoy the “fun” side of the profession. At present, it only has “Aeyesops Fables“, an AI-storyteller that tells tales that involve mythical eyes. Each story comes with a moral or a take-home message, which is then discussed into how this will make the reader a more rounded person/healthcare professional.
